Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what personal data ideas2pixels collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have wherever you live.
Who we are
ideas2pixels ("we", "us") designs, builds and hosts websites and registers domain names for customers worldwide. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@ideas2pixels.com or through our contact page.
What we collect
Account and contact details: your name, email address, phone number, business name, country and billing address.
Order and billing records: the package you choose, domain, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and we do not store full card numbers.
Website content you send us, such as logos, text and photos, and the messages you send through our contact form, support tickets and website chat.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and security logs created when you visit the site or sign in. Essential cookies keep you signed in. Chat cookies are set only if you accept them (see our cookie policy).
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data and ask you not to send it to us.
Why we use it and our legal bases
To provide our services and manage your account and orders (performance of a contract).
To take payments, issue invoices and meet tax, accounting and legal obligations (legal obligation).
To answer enquiries, provide support, keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse (our legitimate interests).
To load our website chat and similar tools (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings in the footer).
To email you service messages such as order updates and renewal reminders. We only send marketing email if you opt in, and every marketing message has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the service, under contract: HubSpot (customer relationship management and website chat), our email delivery provider, our payment provider, our database and hosting infrastructure providers, and domain registrars and registries needed to register your domain. Registering a domain may require your contact details to be shared with the registry and, subject to registry rules, may appear in domain records.
We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
International transfers
We serve customers worldwide, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and providers' participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after it closes. Invoices and payment records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law, typically 6 to 10 years. Enquiries that do not become customers are deleted after 24 months. Security logs are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent, and not to be subject to solely automated decisions (we do not make any). We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, these rights come from the GDPR and UK GDPR. If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law, you may request to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither). Residents of Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia, India, South Africa, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and many other countries have similar rights, and we honour them wherever you live.
Make a request using our data request form. We may need to verify your identity, and we respond within 30 days (or sooner where the law requires). You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. They are not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords and email confirmation of accounts. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. For privacy questions or requests, use our data request form or email hello@ideas2pixels.com.
